The aim of participation is to offer visitors – especially applicants for study after graduation – a comprehensive overview of study opportunities at CTU, enable direct communication with students and teachers, and present modern technological projects and research activities of the university. Representatives of all faculties and one institute, current students, and advisors will be available at the CTU exhibition to provide visitors with information about the study programs offered, present the conditions for admission, scholarship opportunities, and international mobility, and answer questions about the course of study, practical projects, and future employment opportunities for graduates. The employment rate of CTU graduates has long exceeded 99%.
The exhibition will also include a chill-out zone, which will be larger this year – visitors will be able to play table football in the expanded area and compete in electronic dartboard competitions at regular intervals (with prizes featuring the CTU in Prague motif). Blue cotton candy is sure to attract visitors of all ages. There will also be blue "lion" soda, one of the few free refreshments available at the entire fair.
Visitors to the fair will be able to ride in a Formula One simulator at the CTU exhibition, have their hair stand on end with a Van de Graaff generator, and see a model of a water lock with a weir, a navigation chamber, and a "fish passage." The CTU will also send a high-tech infant simulator to Brno, where visitors will be able to try out a vital signs monitor, as well as ordinary soldering and much more.
However, the main focus will be on CTU students themselves, who will advise those interested in the university on what to expect. In addition, representatives from ELSA CTU, which helps people with disabilities, and CIPS CTU, which offers free advice on all kinds of issues, will once again be present. This year, a representative of SÚZ will also be attending the fair for the first time, providing advice on everything related to canteens and accommodation in dormitories (ČVUT guarantees accommodation for all its students!).
The fair is open from October 21 to 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CTU will be located in Hall V. Applicants can register in advance on the Gaudeamus website to receive a discount on admission and access to a study type test.
