Last year, cooperation between mentors and students failed due to imposed restrictions. This year, students can once again choose from a total of 42 mentors listed on the program website. The offer includes mentors from companies such as Microsoft, Faurecia, Google, MSD IT and many others. "About six hundred students went through the project during its duration," says Ing. Ilona Prausová from the CTU Rectorate.
Areas of mentoring and collaboration can be the following: soft skills, personal development / personality development, goal achievement, best practice sharing, career or work-life balance. "The program is a ticket to the work environment while studying. The benefit for students is the growth of self-confidence, awareness of their strengths, valuable advice and tips, broadening the professional horizon, feedback on themselves, their activities, sharing the experience of a professional, "adds Ing. Ilona Prausová.
Denis Korchun, a student at the Faculty of Information Technology at the Czech Technical University, describes his experience in the 2015 program: “I gained a much broader view than before. Meetings with the mentor, thanks to his clear answers, interesting opinions and a lot of information, along with the ease of conversation over a cup of coffee, were very beneficial and motivating for me.
