
In his lecture entitled The Future of Energy is called Nuclear, he spoke about possible solutions to the challenges the Czech Republic and the EU will face in connection with the gradual end of coal mining. According to CEPS estimates, the Czech Republic may face electricity shortages as early as 2030 due to the shift away from fossil fuels. In that case, the Czech Republic would have to import electricity to cover its normal consumption.
Zronek was not the only speaker at the event. Operator Adéla Chalupová, a Faculty of Nuclear Science and Physical Engineering graduate, shared her experience from Temelín in front of a full auditorium. She got her lucrative job by participating in one of the Summer Universities organized by ČEZ for successful students and graduates.
