Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies of CTU in Prague in cooperation with the Czech representation of the association of technical universities EuroTeQ has prepared the first edition of the Automotive Day event for professionals and the general public; it will take place on 12 April 2023 on the CTU premises in Dejvice. If you are interested in cars even in layman's terms, you must not miss it - all twenty exhibits will be available for free test drives. And the programme of the professional conference is also rich.

The event consists of two parts: a car exhibition and a conference on Contemporary Challenges of the Automotive Industry.

This year, five major car companies (Škoda Auto, Hyundai, KIA, Toyota and Citroen) are participating in the exhibition with twenty cars (mostly electric and hybrid cars). The exhibition will run from 9.30 to 16.30 in the area of Technical Street between the NTK and VŠCHT buildings. The cars will be available for test drives. The exhibition is open to all visitors free of charge.

The conference will take place in the premises of MIAS CTU, Kolejní 2637/2a, 160 00 Prague 6 from 10.30 to 16.30. The first one will be devoted to general issues of the state of the Czech automotive sector (representatives of SAP, KPMG, EY, Total Energies and individual automotive companies will take the floor).

The second one will be dedicated to technical issues of the automotive industry (representatives of technical faculties and CTU CIIRC, Škoda Auto and ICT in Prague will speak on current issues of combustion engines, electromobility, hydrogen powered cars, Euro 7, autonomous driving, materials for the automotive industry, modern catalysts, purchasing management, sustainability in the automotive industry, etc.). In total, more than twenty speakers are registered. The conference is mainly aimed at students and academics, however it is also open to public.
