The Open Data Science Europe Workshop 2021 , on the processing of spatial data using open source tools will be held in Wageningen, the Netherlands from 6 to 10 September 2021. Its participants will focus mainly on the use of machine learning. Its participants will focus mainly on the use of machine learning in modeling spatiotemporal data of the European landscape and climate. The workshop will be held in English and is organized by the OpenGeoHub Foundation, co-organized by the Department of Geomatics, Faculty of Civil Engineering.

The event is free of charge for students and participants can apply for a scholarship for a part of travel/stay expences. Deadline for abstract submission is 1st of May (https://pretalx.opendatascience.eu/open-data-cube-europe-workshop-2021/), registration will open in early June. For students, their own participation in the workshop is free, those interested can apply to OpenGeoHub for the financial support needed to cover part of the cost of travel and accommodation.
